Our Breakfasts

We want every guest to have a pleasant breakfast experience. Please let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions in advance so we can accommodate your needs!
We offer a European-style, self-serve continental breakfast on weekday mornings—an homage to the charming inns our family came to love during our years living in Belgium. Served daily from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, a typical spread includes:
- Yogurts and granola
- An assortment of fresh fruits
- Croissants, muffins, and/or bread. Gluten-free bread available with check-in request
- Homemade baked goods
- Cured meats, cheeses, and hard-boiled eggs
- Cereals with milk or dairy alternative
- Locally roasted coffee and Stash teas
- A variety of juices
On weekends, we are pleased to serve a hot breakfast. Replacing the deli meats, cheeses, and hard-boiled eggs above, we are currently serving:
- Saturday morning: Italian frittata and pork sausage
- Sunday morning: French toast with wild Maine blueberries and bacon
* While breakfast is not included with Sandpiper Cottage stays due to limited space in our dining room, the cottage features its own full kitchen for added convenience. We also provide a few basic provisions to help you settle in comfortably.
